Poll Worker Training

(38 min.) This training video is designed to instruct the beginner as well as reinforce what the veteran poll worker should already know. We will first present an overview of your duties and responsibilities and then go into an actual precinct setting to demonstrate the procedures that should be followed when conducting elections. This video is divided into three sections: before the polls open, processing election day voters, and closing the polls.

Topics included in this safety video are: what are the duties and responsibilities of your office, officer of elections, precinct registrar, judge/machine operator, days before the election, election morning at the precinct, election day, provisional ballot voter, challenged voters, closing the polls, and problems to avoid.
