Front End Loader Safety

(15 min.) This program will concentrate on the basic safe operations for the standard front-end loader. As an operator, you are a skilled professional who is responsible for an expensive piece of equipment, as well as the safety of those around you. You should not operate the front-end loader unless you have been fully trained and authorized by your organization.

Topics included in this safety video are: rollover protection structures (ROPS), potential problems, rearward rollovers, hitching a load, rollover prevention, how to prevent backward upsets, how to prevent sideways tip-overs, falls, run-over accidents, avoid crushing accidents, articulated four-wheel drive loaders, power take off (PTO), basic loader safety rules, maintenance, operating your front-end loader, and travel and trailering.
