Risk Management Orientation

(7 min.) Risk management is looking at the entire operation and taking steps to ensure proper protection for all phases that go into our schools. This short risk management orientation program is designed to make you more aware of what risk management is all about, at how you can participate in protection the school system and reducing the risk that we are faced with on a daily basis. One of the major responsibilities of the district is to provide students with a safe environment in which to learn.

Topics covered in this safety video include: assaults, kidnapping, food poisoning, burns, slips and falls, faulty equipment, mold, insurance premiums, rescheduling work, recruiting, training, work stoppages and decreased productivity, loss of pay, property damage, and safety policies and procedures.

Program comes with a CD-ROM of written materials, including test questions and answers. English title also includes PowerPoint presentation.
