(17 min.) Every year, too many workers are hospitalized or die from heat-related illness. There have been reports of amateur and professional athletes who have died by the effects of heat illness. Employees working in hot environments can also suffer from heat illness.

Topics included in this safety video are: types of heat illness (heat cramps, heat exhaustion, heat stroke), preventing heat illness, acclimatization, training, supervisory responsibilities, weather, shade, fluids, and emergency procedures.
