Golf Cart Safety

(9 min.) This short program is designed to outline some of the safety responsibilities and provide information about golf cart safety. Certainly you're interested in the industrial applications of the golf cart, but we'll throw in some golf course safety as well, for those golfers and the maintenance persons who operate golf carts in their routine jobs.

Topics included in this safety video are: Written Cart Maintenance Checklist, storing golf carts, occupants, operating in reverse or on (hills, wet surfaces, smooth surfaces, or rough terrain), when impaired by alcohol or drugs, lightning, seatbelts, operating on the roads or highway, driver's license required, batteries, smoking, lead acid storage batteries, vent caps, and proper lifting techniques when moving batteries.
