Performance Reviews
(18 min.) Do you really know how you're performing your responsibilities or how your boss thinks you're performing your responsibilities? Well, let's take a few minutes and look at performance reviews and try to understand the importance of these reviews.
Topics covered in this safety video include: attitude, productivity, day-to-day feedback, goals, assign responsibilities for each particular area or employee, preparation for the review, identify and develop items to be covered, rate the employee's performance based upon job expectations and standards, avoid anything that distorts reality (race, religion, education, family background, age, or sex), performance review - 4 basic fundamental areas to be covered (unsatisfactory performance should be identified and discussed, summarize what has been discussed and the agreements reached, give the employee a chance to react, question, and add any additional ideas or suggestions), express appreciation for the employee's participation, and reinforce the commitment to future expectations.
