We now have machine guards operated by laser, safety glasses, hearing protection, chemical protective clothing, hard hats, foot protection, fall protection harnesses, and many more being developed every day. Companies spend billions of dollars every year on this equipment as well as educational and awareness training programs to protect their most important asset, their employees. You would think that with all these different types of equipment and educational tools available, injuries would be almost non-existent. This is not the case! Serious injuries are still occurring at an alarming rate. Why? One reason; unsafe acts on the part of the employee. You are about to see graphic pictures of industrial injuries. Keep in mind that these victims had access to the same safety equipment and training that you do; only they decided not to use it and paid the price.
