Safety and the Supervisor

(20 min.) The supervisor is the only person having direct control over employees; therefore the supervisor is absolutely responsible and accountable for safety. The training is usually provided as an employee safety orientation program provided new employees the first day on the job.

Topics included in the safety video are: various training requirements, definition of the word "accident," the importance of safety counseling, creating an effective safety program, enforcing the rules, and completing accident investigation reports.
